Hello, dear colleagues! Many of you
ask us in the training or at the trade show how much of the specific Pre and After Care product is actually needed. First of all, you need super, super small amounts, a bottle lasts approximately a year when applying average amounts. But let’s have a look at it together. Let’s start with the Skin Cleanser. Use the Skin Cleanser always before waxing and at the end of waxing. We use the Skin Cleanser before to cleanse the armpits from the deodorant residues, to remove the makeup from the face, to remove powder, lipstick, virtually to clean and disinfect the skin. When you start with the Skin Cleanser, the amount should really be this small, I’ll hold it now in front of the camera so you can see it. If you take too much of it, the skin is wet and if the skin is wet the wax cannot stick. This is why you should not apply too much of it, this small amount is really enough to quickly remove the deodorant residues and makeup. If you have already taken too much and you go with your hand over it and notice it’s too much, then just take a Kleenex or a dry cotton pad and dry it first before you take the next step. The next step is Pre-Waxing Oil and you should apply even less of this product, on the face really only a small drop. You don’t want to mattify the skin with oil. You just want to cover the skin with a thin layer of oil, so that the wax grabs the hair, pulls the hair out, but doesn’t pull the skin. All you need is a homeopathic, marginal amount of one drop on the face. For underarms two drops. You feel it. When you slide over with a glove, at best a vinyl glove, you can feel a thin film. Take a good look at it and if you can see it there is probably already too much oil. But you can also get rid of too much oil, you can either rub it into the skin with your hands or again dab 1-2 times with Kleenex as you would do with any cosmetics, dab until you have the correct amount left. So, you have used the Skin Cleanser, you have used the Pre-Waxing Oil, you have waxed and all the hair is gone now, and now we would like to cleanse the treated skin area once more and for that purpose, we will use the
Skin Cleanser again. After the treatment, you can use more Skin Cleanser. It can be a larger amount like this, I’ll hold it closer to the camera so you can see it. This is because at the end of the treatment you want the pores to contract again it should be astringent; it should simply be disinfected again and it should also pleasantly soothe and relax the skin. This is why you can now use more Skin Cleanser. Just the same, you can also put more After Care Lotion on face after the treatment. We are often asked which after care product should be used for different body areas. We always recommend the After Care Lotion for the face, because the customer prefers it to absorb immediately with no oily shine and to be pleasantly soothing which makes the After Care Lotion a perfect choice. Body skin is much drier than the facial skin. As you know, you can hardly find anyone with the oily body skin. This is why you can apply larger quantities on the body.
After Care Oil is perfect for that. Of course, you can also use the After Care Oil on face if your lady customer has very dry skin, and also for gentlemen with very dry facial skin. But as a general rule, you will use the After Care Lotion
for the face, and the After Care Oil for the body and then you can use more of it, especially on large body areas. When you wax the lower leg, you can apply half to the whole teaspoon of the After Care Oil and massage it in. l hope you will find these little tips for daily dosing of Pre and After Care products useful and we will, of course, be happy to answer any questions that you might have. Enjoy your day and see you soon. Bye!
